She sat behind a veil of angles,
half shadow, half remembered wine.
A cigarette of silence curling
down her fractured neckline.

The walls leaned close with questions,
but her gaze knew how to lie,
lips the color of unsent letters,
cheekbones carved by why.

Her sleeves, green as forgotten promises,
brushed time off her knees.
She spoke in watercolor riddles,
breaking symmetry with ease.

No one remembered where she came from,
only the hum of her leaving.
Each line a quiet rebellion,
each tremor believing.

The night filed her away in pixels,
a face lost to smoke and rain.
But still, behind cracked glass,
“The Green “keeps whispering her name.
